The Senior Director – Professional Services, will lead a team of professional services team and is responsible all phases of professional services projects; initiating, planning, execution, control, quality, and directing all efforts related to the successful and profitable implementation. This role is responsible for managing multiple project managers, PS engineers, and their schedules, planning resource allocation, and driving projects to completion on schedule with high quality. This role spans technical, schedule, costs and contract areas of assigned projects. The Senior Director – Professional Services will communicate project schedules and status to various levels in the organization, including Sales and Senior Management. The position requires strong communication skills, technical project management experience with complex systems (ATM application experience a plus), and a determination to maintain high quality with a customer focus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the Professional Services team and all related projects.
Manage a team of Project Managers and PS Engineers who are assigned delivery projects
Plan and create schedules required to facilitate work effort in conjunction with the engineering and integration with other Hyosung teams
Direct and manage the required project team members and resources necessary to satisfy contracts and business requirements, which may include multi-skilled and multi-cultural teams of internal Hyosung resources, customers, and consultants
Support projects with the necessary tactical, detail, scheduling, reporting, tracking, and administrative duties necessary to ensure the success and transparency of the projects
Maintain project records and keep current project tracking log details, status, issues, risks, open items, change requests, resolutions, and project closeout, including acceptance testing, training, and customer signoff
Maintain and promote timely communications through frequent project status meetings, weekly project reports, project plan updates, and document and distribute meeting discussions in a timely manner
Prepare formal project status reports, conduct regular reviews and/or audits with engineering, executive steering committee, and/or project office
Resolve complex project issues, using independent decision-making and negotiation skills
Conduct PM and PSE reviews of project deliverables and manage the project expectations through final acceptance
Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met according to time, budget, scope, and contracted functionality
Ensure projects adhere and comply with standard development procedures
Organize and host presentations to the professional services organization, senior management, and other groups as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Senior Project Management / Program Management or specific industry experience pertinent to the role’s objectives – managing complex system integration, software development or professional services projects for ATM solutions, ATM operations, or financial (banking) industry
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar.
Strong Project Management skills and understanding of technology, such as software, hardware, networking, systems development and implementation
Successful experience in delivering professional services such as consulting, system implementation, software integration and support
Extensive business and technical experience
Understanding of bank ATM operations, teller functions, and how the banking transaction environment operates desired
PMI Certification desired
