RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the team


• Develop and explicitly communicate the Product goal


• Create and clearly communicate the Product Backlog items and Project requirements


• Ordering the Product Backlog items


• Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood


• Manage project requirements from initiation through definition of done including: managing scope, resolving roadblocks, eliciting and delivering requirements, communication, testing, and training while promoting best practices and standards


• Engage with all project stakeholders both internally and externally including Executive and IT Management, Project Sponsor, Product Owner, Subject Matter Experts and additional required resources to continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships


• Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process mapping and descriptions, build vs buy analysis, task and workflow analysis for critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs


• Create and deliver artifacts derived from functional requirements utilizing: Business Requirement Documents, Diagrams, User Stories and Mockups for development and subject matter acceptance to establish the technical vision and balance usability and performance needs


• Assist in coordination, leading and/or participating in the testing process and UAT

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or Computer Science


• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus


• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a plus


• Certified Product Owner (CPO) is a plus


• 5-7 years of experience eliciting and documenting requirements, including business requirements, functional requirements & technical requirements


• 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries for data analysis


• 3+ years of experience working as a business analyst in Data and Analytics organizations


• Experience working on Cloud Datawarehouse platform (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, etc.)


• PC skills and hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access


• Foster Teamwork across teams


• Puts the team before themselves

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
