RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking a Senior Consultant - RH OpenShift Virtualization.

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Consultant with expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) to lead platform deployment and provide innovative containerization solutions. The ideal candidate will guide organizations through their cloud-native transformation, leveraging OCP 4 for scalable, secure, and efficient application deployments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Red Hat certifications (e.g., OpenShift Administrator or Architect) preferred


• Proven experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (version 4 preferred)


• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native architectures


• Expertise in platform automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools


• Proficiency in Linux administration and networking fundamentals


• Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Helm


• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and microservices architecture


• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana


• Knowledge of IT security standards and practices related to containerization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
