The Learning Operations coordinator is responsible for the smooth execution of classes and events at the Vertiv Westerville Academy. This role will contribute to the Americas Technical Learning and Development team. This role will provide outstanding customer to arrange for catering, serve meals, rearrange classroom furniture, cleaning and organizing events spaces and working a flexible schedule to either come in early for event set up, or stay late for customer and executive events as needed. Customer service skills, event planning and coordinating, basic knowledge of classroom A/V systems and food safety guidelines are all required skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare classrooms each day for classes and events being held such as cleaning whiteboards, setting out student materials, and moving tables and chairs to accommodate the students. Working on their own with caterers, food delivery vendors and other outside vendors to provide food for classes and events. Basic set up, operation and troubleshooting of classroom A/V including Microsoft Teams, Guest Wifi, lighting, video and audio devices. Set food out for the classrooms and events at mealtime and clean up afterward. Working on their own with instructors, event requestors, company leaders, students and guests to respond to needs during the day Work with training coordinators, event requestors and training program managers to plan events and classroom needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in managing and coordinating events or parties
Customer service experience in retail sales or food service
Some college education preferred but not required

Significant time spent walking and standing to prepare and manage classrooms and event spaces
Lifting up to 50 pounds
