The Network Planner is responsible for leading the development of the master production and inventory plan which will drive the production, finished goods inventory, and financial cash plans, balancing the customer service, product freshness, finished goods inventory and cost goals.
Additionally, the Network Planner is responsible for managing the total forecast of their item set. This includes making market intelligence adjustments to the forecasts at the item - regional level and verifying the complete and correct reconciliation of these forecasts.
What are we looking for? Minimum
B.S. or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering.
3-5 years of supply chain experience for a global or multi-plant consumer packaged goods company
Experience with ERP and Advanced Planning Systems
Experience with Sales channel and CPFR data analytics
Experience in developing and implementing supply chain planning processes and managing them through deployment of an APS system
Up to 20% travel is required
Preferred
Master or advanced degree (Sciences or Business)
Experience with JDA E2open or Rapid Response

Generate 36 period Consensus Demand Plan using all Forecast Inputs
Run Demand "What if" Scenarios
Track Supply and Demand Planning KPI's
Apply market Intelligence input to refine forecast
Generate forecast projections
Develop specific supply/ forecasting plan for new and rationalized items
Manage finished goods inventory
Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization - set and manage dynamic safety stock levels and policies
Parameter optimization for cost, cash and service balancing (dynamic)
Minimize supply chain NQC
Generate 36 period Supply plan for all relevant manufacturing locations
Run simulations to meet customer due dates for higher service levels at lowest cash/ cost
Manage capacity usage and sourcing
Manage and communicate supply constraints
Coordinate raw and pack material requirements for each facility
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing
Generate raw and pack constraint visibility for the business
Evaluate supply constraints to verify feasibility for new demand requests coming from the field
Lead the brand forecast input meeting to discuss insights, and risks and opportunities, with all applicable parties for the entire forecasting horizon
Facilitate the Brand Alignment Review to communicate latest Brand Forecast for current and future years, and provide insights into Customer/Brand challenges in the current year
Facilitate monthly meetings leading up to S&OP Step 2-3
Prepare all required materials to support final consensus forecast
Develop weekly planning handoff to Execution Planner at 4wk timeframe
Participate/lead continuous improvement projects and problem solving cards, as it relates to service, cost and cash issues
