General Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to implement assigned modules of the EHR Platform (PointClickCare) in all the facilities supported by PACS. This role ensures compliance with current federal and state guidelines as well as the facility's established privacy policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:


  • Receive and follow work schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.

  • Assist in organizing, planning, and directing EHR-related projects in accordance with set project deadlines.

  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with other PACS Support team members, as well as other departments in all the supported facilities, to ensure that PCC modules are implemented timely and properly.

  • Provide PCC Navigation training and re-training on assigned modules.

  • Audit assigned modules as needed, including audits to support the legal team, facility admission teams, and nursing teams in collaboration with the Regional Director of Clinical Services, Medical Records Auditor, and Regional RAI Specialist.

  • Issue monthly reports covering audit results to the EHR Managers and Directors, Legal team, Clinical Leadership teams, and Executive team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHR implementation or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of EHR systems, particularly PointClickCare.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication and training skills.

  • Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.

  • Communicates with nursing personnel, and other department personnel. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc. Is involved with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies and personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.

  • May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals

The team frequently interacts with various departments, including nursing, legal, and clinical leadership, to ensure the successful implementation of EHR modules.
