The Judge Group is seeking a Controller for a manufacturing company located in the Richmond, VA area

Position Summary:


The Site Controller oversees all accounting activities at the assigned site, including daily operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial controls. This role ensures internal controls are maintained and audits policies and procedures to safeguard assets.


Duties and Responsibilities:


•Develop and implement accounting policies, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial controls.


•Provide accounting advice and policy interpretation.


•Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.


•Prepare financial projections.


•Maintain internal controls and oversee audits.


•Implement policies for revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.


•Provide financial analyses for leadership decisions.


•Review processes for financial control and efficiency.


Basic Qualifications:


•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.


•CPA or CFA certification.


•7+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles.


•Experience in a public company.

•Ability to influence and educate at all levels.


•Proven track record in financial processes and strategies.


•Strong Excel skills.


•Attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.


•Extensive GAAP and SEC reporting experience.


•Strong relationship-building skills.


•Excellent analytical skills.


•Ability to manage confidential information.


•Willingness to travel.
