JOB SUMMARY:
Takes responsibility for client walk in traffic into the Mesa Client Services Building and takes immediate ownership of the purpose of the visit whether its parts, service, rental, or other. Works with Parts personnel to direct client to proper personnel, assists with will call and other parts requests. Works with Service Advisor and Rental Coordinator to ensure that client expectations are followed through on and all inquiries are satisfied. Ensures that all clients are acknowledged immediately in a professional and welcoming manner. Works with all areas of the Parts, Service, Rental, and Product Support Departments. Accepts assignments and projects that will provide the knowledge and experiences to progress into supervision or management within Product Support. Gains this experience through acquiring knowledge of all markets and departments on the Mesa Campus and Branch locations. Develops relationships with key players in all departments and in-depth knowledge of competitive markets and the service capabilities that are offered in each department and store. Must be willing to work out of town, various shifts, and long hours to accomplish assignments and goals. Must be prepared to be considered as a strong candidate for a supervisory position in the parts department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Gain and maintain knowledge on all facets of the Client Services Building including Mesa Parts Operations through exposure to not only parts transactions but works with service advisor and rental coordinator to ensure that all client transactions and visits are handled with the utmost in professionalism. Will take ownership of service and rental transactions in the absence of the advisor and coordinator. Gains knowledge of brand novelty inventory control processes including stock order processing. Is responsible for stocking levels for all brand displays.
Gain and maintain knowledge on all markets through exposure to general construction, mining, agriculture, governmental and engine business. Develop solid relationships with all key managers and supervisors in Mesa to facilitate market and services related questions.
Gain and maintain knowledge of Mesa and Branch Store Parts, Service, and Rental Operations and all key contacts at all locations. Foster relationships with all branch stores and key employees who can be contacted for quick responses to inquiries.
Assume responsibility for assigned projects and completes them in a satisfactory manner, according to deadlines and to the client's satisfaction.
Accept and perform job responsibilities pertaining to all areas and stores as assigned.
Must be willing to work all shifts as assigned.
Must be willing to work at Branch Stores for extended periods as assigned.
Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if required to complete an assigned project.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.
Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend and completes the Client Experience and supervisory training classes as assigned.
Make client visits and follow up calls as needed.
Work in the Mesa and EHS Parts along with the Service and Rental Departments for a limited time to gain an understanding and knowledge of their functions and operations.
Learn the budgeting process.
Participate in rotation of weekend and after-hours parts duty.
Work within and promote corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Must demonstrate computer skills sufficient to complete assigned responsibilities.
Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills when communicating with peers, management, and clients.
Must be able to motivate a work group to achieve desired results.
Must possess a solid knowledge of the DBS, WMS, SPI, and SIS systems.
Must have good to excellent product knowledge.
Must have good to excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Must have completed bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
