Job Description:

The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for their next Engineer II to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Engineer II in a hotel or similar setting, has general maintenance knowledge in areas such as electricity, plumbing, HVAC/commercial cooling systems, painting/drywall, appliance repair (commercial kitchen and laundry equipment), fire detection/life safety systems and swimming pools, and has a great approach to teamwork

Pay rate:$24 per hour

Shift Pattern:Full availability Monday - Sunday for 8-hour shift between 4pm-Midnight (holidays and weekends are required)

What will I be doing?

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
