The Project Requisition Specialist is responsible for managing the requisition process for project-related materials and services. This role ensures timely and accurate procurement to support project execution, maintaining close coordination with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholdersMinimum requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
A minimum of 15 years of experience
Proven experience in procurement, requisition management, or project management, preferably in a project-based environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
Knowledge of industry-specific procurement practices and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:
Specific knowledge related to the mechanical design of crude oil pump and gas compression equipment including electric motor drives, reciprocating engines, gas turbines, reciprocating compressors, and centrifugal pumps/compressors
Experience and knowledge with piping, pump and compressor station design
Advanced computer skills
Able to read P&IDs and compare with Bill of Materials (BOM).
Specific knowledge and application experience as a project manager in a commercial environment
Knowledge of industry's regulatory compliance issues and standards.

Gather and consolidate data from engineering firms, manufacturers, and suppliers associated with the production, transportation, and storage of clean energy products. Present the data and make recommendations to key stakeholders in Engineering, Commercial, and Operations.
Requisition Management, prepare and process purchase requisitions for project materials and services.
Ensure all requisitions are complete, accurate, and comply with company policies and procedures.
Supplier Coordination and communication with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to facilitate efficient procurement processes.
Project Support and Work closely with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
Monitor and track the status of requisitions and ensure timely fulfillment to support project schedules.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of requisitions, supplier communications, and procurement activities.
Prepare and present regular reports on requisition status, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics.
Compliance and Risk Management to ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement and supplier performance.
Continuous Improvement and Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the requisition process
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to drive innovation in procurement practices.
