Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Sr Data Analyst to join their team. This remote position offers regular working hours with some flexibility, primarily within Central Time working hours. The successful candidate will be a key resource for complex issues, data discrepancies, and urgent tasks.

Responsibilities include:
- Working with customers to design data extracts based on their reporting needs
- Collaborating with Data Engineers on the data exports required from data pipelines
- Analyzing data and combining datasets to develop reporting products/solutions
- Assessing and interpreting customer requests for feasibility, priority, and complexity
- Consulting with the People Analytics team to develop and build prioritized and standard solutions
- Creating and maintaining internal process documentation and customer-facing help documents
- Leading projects and change initiatives aligned to key priorities of People Analytics and People Analytics customers
- Executing intermediate programming and/or scripting in at least one of our core technologies to build applications
- Reviewing work of others and providing guidance on execution, best practices, and areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience with Human Capital/People Teams, business or financial analysis, etc.
- 4+ years of experience analyzing data and combining datasets to develop reporting products/solutions
- 3+ years of experience building dashboards and visualizations in a data visualization tool such as Domo, Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI or similar Business Intelligence platform
- Advanced level of experience in ETL for visualization tools
- Intermediate level of experience in SQL/HiveQL
- Experience communicating both verbally/written with people at a wide variety of levels in an organization
- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and HTML

Preferred skills include:
- Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and management
- Project Management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
- Experience creating user stories using the As a (role), I want (function) so that (business value) methodology
- Basic understanding of statistical methodologies and measurements
- Experience leading people (directly or indirectly) or large-scale projects
- 1+ years in an agile environment or with agile tools such as Rally or Swift
