Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing inquiries, interpreting contracts, and facilitating conflict resolution
Provide comprehensive information to current and prospective employees regarding policies, job roles, benefits, and advancement opportunities
Ensure accurate documentation of personnel changes and maintain updated employee files
Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with EEO, ERISA, and Wage & Hour regulations
Oversee employee complaint processes to uphold fairness and consistency
Manage all aspects of the staffing process, including pre-employment testing, interviews, and reference checks
Coordinate new employee orientation programs
Handle payroll processing and address benefit-related issues
Communicate and implement policies and procedures aligning with company objectives
Collaborate with Division HR on succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
Conduct employee training sessions on benefits enrollment, harassment prevention, customer service, and related topics
Analyze turnover and compensation data for corporate reporting
Uphold employee confidentiality and respond to information requests
Adhere to safety and company regulations while performing duties
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 3-5 years of HR generalist experience; professional HR certification preferred
Prior experience in payroll administration is essential
Familiarity with Ulti-Pro software is advantageous
Proficient knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship-building
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
