Job Description:
Location: Kansas City, KS
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Human Resource Specialist.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance.
- Assist with training initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
- Assist with employee company events
- Support employee benefit enrollment activities
- Payroll Processing Duties:
- Process payroll for all employees.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements: - College degree is preferred but not required
- 2 years of HR experience
- Experience with payroll is highly preferred
- Experience with ADP
- Looking for someone that enjoys helping others in the company
- Solid computer skills (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
