Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Available Shifts: Day Shift
Manufacturing/Production Requirements:
Experience with thin film coating or working with machinery in vacuum environments.
Proficiency in using small hand tools for equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Experience in wearing a respirator or using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to communicate non-conforming material issues and conduct quality checks.
Capability to communicate equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance staff, and perform basic troubleshooting.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Understanding of general manufacturing processes, including cycle times, KPIs, and entering process start/end times.
Experience preparing and cleaning equipment for work order changes.
Familiarity with the KANBAN system.
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Continuous monitoring of equipment to ensure proper operation.
Ability to follow work instructions (WI) to complete assigned processes.
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
Demonstrates knowledge of the overall organization
Demonstrates knowledge of at least two or more functions
Work assignments entail coordination of several different functional activities
Has work experience and is knowledgeable of practices that integrate work product with other functional teams
Works under normal supervision
Follows established direction
