Responsibilities
Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
Perform related duties as required by supervision
Ensures bundle measurements are accurate
Must be able to handle both large pieces and small pieces of aluminum extrusions
Use hands for simple and power grasping as well as push/pull and fine manipulation

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager
This position works in a manufacturing environment in all weather conditions
Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions
Bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel throughout shift and be able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions
Guide full rack (pushed by Forklift)
Assist with Extrusion transfer (30 lbs. max assisted lift)
Remove spacers
Visually inspect, straighten/align Extrusions
Pack extrusions with shrink wrap
Lift bundled extrusions (100 lbs. max assisted lift)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
6 months to one year of experience in a fast-paced environment
Accurately uses and understands measuring tape
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
Maintain the production pace of other team members
Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
Able to work weekends and overtime
Be willing to work in a manufacturing environment
The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.60. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
