Performs specialized work in the planning, conducting and/or supervising of original research at TTUHSC. Responsible for participating in, planning, scheduling and/or supervising research projects and the interpretation of the results for publication. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
Monitor screening and enrollment of research participants.Plan and assist with data collection events (e.g. focus groups, interviews, surveys).Analyze data and compile findings.Ensure accuracy and quality of data.Submit and maintain IRB applications.Ensure clear and frequent communication with study team.Advise student and research assistants on data analysis and other research activities.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with human subjects research, including consenting and managing human subjects data, IRB submissions.Management of research data and data analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methods and software.Background in public health, medicine, sociology, nursing, or other applied or clinical research.Ability to travel (personal transportation) is required for occasional travel to priority counties across the Texas Panhandle.
Community engagement experience and bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; experience with Qualtrics, ATLAS.ti, and REDCap desired.
