Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7)



Department/Organization: 204714 - Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic



Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm



Job Summary: The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the Ph.D. or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.



Additional Department Summary: Conducts diagnostic and psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and young adults presenting for concerns of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental concerns in clinic and school settings. Facilitates family support programming (parent support and psychoeducation groups, sibling support groups, etc.). Supervises graduate student trainees. Based on candidate interests, there are also opportunities for candidate to conduct individual and group therapy, complete community education presentations, and/or participate in research activities. All clinical services will be conducted under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Supervision will be individual (at least two hours per week) and will include video, self-report, and in vivo when suitable.



Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Psychology or closely related field.


Candidates will need to have completed their Ph.D. or have it completed by the start of employment.


Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.



Skills and Knowledge: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children and adolescents. Experience administering standardized cognitive and ASD-specific assessments. Experience working with individuals with ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience writing integrative reports.
