The Senior Financial Analyst, Senior, as a member of the Finance department at Rochester Regional Health will provide senior level expertise including financial support and analysis related to Patient Accounts Receivable, Contractual Reserves and Allowance for Doubtful Accounts. The Account Receivable Analyst, Senior will lead team level project and processes and provide guidance, assistance and training for other team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferred (can include experience collecting and analyzing data in healthcare setting).
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain thorough understanding of key inputs impacting Accounts receivable including billing processes, work streams, healthcare reimbursement and regulations that may impact the business and financial statement reporting
On a monthly basis, utilize Revenue Cycle Analytic tool for AR reserve modeling including analysis and reporting for monthly close process
Partner with leadership including Patient Financial Services and others as appropriate to monitor AR changes and provide meaningful business insight to fluctuations including plans for remediation
Coordinate and oversee interim and year end audit reporting related to net patient accounts receivable
Provides guidance, assistance, and training for other team members
Expected to coordinate and oversee specific departmental deliverables
Demonstrate strong organizational skills; using systematic methods to perform work and creativity to recommend or create new work methods or procedures
Demonstrate analytical, proactive problem solving skills; techniques to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully

Ability to effectively communicate; tailor communications to different audiences with varying levels of financial knowledge
Ability to leverage good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to complete role requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $70,000.00 - $88,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
