RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development : Generate new Fairness Opinion, Solvency Opinion, Board Advisory and M&A opportunities from your existing and future network.
Engagement Execution : Lead engagement teams of three or more professionals; oversee the financial analysis and the preparation of opinion letters and presentation documents, and deliver oral presentations to clients.
Risk Management : Assist with the review of Fairness Opinions and Solvency Opinions within the Transaction Opinions practice.
Private Equity Coverage : Be responsible for cultivating relationships with a select group of private equity firms likely to have opinion needs, distribute Duff& Phelps' M&A product as appropriate.
Cross Selling : Sell clients the other services that Duff & Phelps provides.
Staff Development : Mentor and develop Staff, Vice Presidents and Directors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 10 years' experience at bulge bracket, reputable boutique, middle-market or regional investment bank with demonstrable Fairness Opinion and Board of Director advisory experience.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA and /or J.D. degree preferred
Demonstrated experience with managing client relationships and engagements.
Candidate should be an established individual with an existing referral network and reasonable prospects of generating meaningful revenue in year one.
Demonstrated record of leadership and effective management in matrixed organizations
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
