Job Summary

Site Support positions at Stellar are very similar to merchandising or route sales but without having to do anything sales related. You'll be responsible for working on-site with our customers in and around the Sparks/Reno, Nevada area, stocking inventory, filling vending machines, working with customer service to complete quotes and orders, and problem solving. This position is also focused on warehouse duties. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory counts. 

You'll be responsible for covering all their service needs and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as well as following all specific on-site guidelines. This position requires front-line analysis and resolution where appropriate, calling on and utilizing all available Stellar resources as needed.

Major responsibilities and expectations:

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Site Support person to:


  • Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries

    • Be the first point of customer contact for general inquiries about orders, scheduling, delivery of product, etc.

    • Adeptly handle all customer inquiries and requests

    • Accurately enter quotes and orders using ERP system (Prophet 21)

    • Learn, understand, and utilize the automated or semi-automated systems and processes put in place by our Solutions team, including vending machines, wireless warehouse, and other related processes and systems

    • Expedite all open quotes and orders with urgency and accuracy

    • Check on inventory specific to the customer, ensuring that all Min/Max levels and safety stock are adequate

    • Focus on customer specific requirements


  • Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers:

    • Use the ERP system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management Solution) to accurately pick customer orders and transfers

    • Pack orders and transfers properly for shipping, with appropriate paperwork and labeling

    • Prepare and ship orders using ERP system and UPS system, recording shipments properly and shipping using instructions from order


  • Accurately receive, put away and cycle count inventory:

    • Basic Purchase Order (PO) Entry function

    • Process any problem shipments timely and accurately, communicating immediately with the proper department

    • Put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned warehouse locations

    • Perform accurate and timely cycle counts based on branch commitment to 100% count 2X annually

  • Act as a liaison between Account Managers, Specialists, Customer Experience Managers and other departments as needed

  • Follow all customer guidelines and procedures as it pertains to your position

    • Follow all on-site safety and emergency procedures

    • Stay current on all required training and certifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Must have valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record.

  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Experience with ERP systems such as CribMaster is a plus, but not required.

  • Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lb – 50lbs and on occasion up to 75lbs.

Education


  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience


  • 2-3 years of relevant customer service or warehouse related experience is preferred.

  • Experience as a merchandiser or route salesperson is appreciated but not required.

Physical Demands:


  • Light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools.

Work Environment:


  • Marginal to moderate hazards that are typically predictable or well protected against
