Position Overview: The payroll specialist handles all aspects of the payroll process for employees. Answers all questions, corrects paychecks, maintains accurate financial records, and prepares reports as needed. Identifies and optimizes payroll efficiencies in Workday HRIS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
Processing of bi-weekly payroll
Ensure 401k deferrals and loans are accurate and up to date, weekly
Enter one-time payments/bonuses as needed
Review and correct timesheet entries as needed
Resolve payroll errors
Handle direct deposit inquiries and issues
Process wage garnishments through 3rd party provider
Monitor and follow-up on E-Verify cases
Complete VOE's and Interrogatories as needed
Assist with any quarter end items as required
Perform other duties as assigned.
