The Center for Technology, Innovation & Competition (CTIC) invites applications for a CTIC Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School starting immediately upon hiring. It is a one-year appointment with the potential for a one-year extension. The fellow will work with Professor Christopher Yoo and project partners supporting CTIC's research and projects.
Responsibilitiesof the fellow will include but are not limited to:
Clean and manage large datasets
Conduct statistical analyses of data using R/Stata
Prepare literature reviews, background research, and other draft content for grant proposals and academic papers
Draft project reports, research protocols, and other project documents
Prepare presentations for large venues - e.g., U.N. bodies
Organize events in international venues
Represent the project on conference calls and email discussions with various stakeholders
Maintain project website
Qualifications
Required
Graduate degree in Business, Decision Sciences, Data Sciences, Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, Communications, International Development, Public Policy or related fields with substantial quantitative coursework
Strong technical, analytic, computational, and writing skills
Prior research or professional experience related to ICT4D
Proficiency programming in R or Stata
Willingness to travel
Preferred
Familiarity with financial modeling
