Job DescriptionAs the Early Learning Program's Program Coordinator (PC), you will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, and enrolling children and their families who are eligible for the Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP). You will work collaboratively to provide comprehensive services to each child and family. Through education and support, the PC will help families learn how to access and advocate for needed family services.
As a PC for the Early Learning Programs, you will work in partnership with teachers to encourage and plan for families to advocate for and participate in their child's education. You will also work together with families in an effort to support them in recognizing and building upon family strengths and improving the conditions and quality of their family's life. In this position, you will be a part of a dynamic team in supporting Centralia College's student families, as well as community families, in gaining access to education and services.

QualificationsHigh school graduation or equivalent AND two years' experience in providing social services related to child abuse and neglect, child guidance, parenting education and family dynamics to low income or other at-risk families;
And including the equivalent of 30 college credits of adult education, human development, human services, family support, social work, early childhood education, child development, psychology, or another field directly related to their job responsibilities. OR be willing to be on a Professional Development Plan to fully obtain the education qualifications of their role.

This is a full-time, 10-months per year position. Classified employees are represented by the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE). The state of Washington provides a comprehensive benefits package for state employees.

COMPENSATION
Monthly Salary: Range 40 ($3,477 - $4,517) + 5% Bilingual Premium Pay
