The Department of Pediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, in partnership with the Children's Hospital of New Orleans (CHNOLA), is seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow to join our pediatric research team. The postdoctoral fellow will coordinate and manage a translational research program focused on the intergenerational transmission of RSV and its impacts on offspring health.
Applicants are required to have a PhD in cell and molecular biology, immunology or virology and a minimum of five year previous experience in bench and translational research. A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in the laboratory and posses biostatistical skills including linear and multiple regression and multi level modeling. Candidates should have an established interest in molecular biology, rodent models, and cell culture. Additionally, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team structure.
