A Postdoctoral Fellow position available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine.
We are seeking a motivated candidate who is proficient in DNA, RNA and cell culture methods. The successful candidate will be capable of investigating the role of human papillomavirus (HPV) or Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in its associated human cancers. The work will involve methodologies including next-generation DNA/RNA-sequencing, FISH analysis, mutagenesis, cloning, RNA and DNA preparation, FACS analysis, cell-based assays including western blotting, co-IP, cell proliferation/growth, manipulation of cell culture, and immunofluorescence staining.
Ph.D. or M.D. with experience in molecular biology and biochemistry.
