Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support in the design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment to advance mission-critical defense technologies.
Assist with the design, modification, and fabrication of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuits, laser/light devices, and specialized test equipment.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Build, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test equipment, tools, and systems.
Conduct and document experiments to identify process parameters and recommend improvements.
Design and build custom tooling and fixtures to support unique tasks.
Implement and document solutions for complex process improvements.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, determine cause-effect relationships, and recommend resolutions.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant engineering or technical role.
Proficiency in fabrication tools and ability to build complex hardware.
Strong understanding of technical theory and hands-on engineering processes.
