We are assisting our client with their search for a Senior Grant Accountant. This is a true temp-to-permanent opportunity that requires an understanding of the federal/university grant operations and knowledge of relevant sponsor regulations.
Responsibilities:
Monitors accounts receivable balances
Grant close-out process
Grant reporting schedules - update and maintaining them
Prepared invoices
Follows up on cash collections
Perform all award accounting, monthly and annual financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis
Assist with preparation for audits
Ensure compliance with internal and external controls and conditions set by each grant sponsor
