The Legal, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance (LRAC) Team is responsible for supporting the business with all legal, compliance, audit, legislative and regulatory work. This includes providing project management support for certain regulatory reports, audits, and implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements.
The Project Coordinator is a key member of the Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance team and provides administrative assistance, project coordination and management support for both state and federal reporting, audits and implementation work. This role will play an important part in ensuring our company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating various projects related to legal and regulatory affairs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the organization's legal objectives. Under the direction of the Vice President, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, the LRAC Project Coordinator will support various projects, initiatives, and day-to-day responsibilities.
As a member of the LRAC team, the Project Coordinator will have an opportunity to improve accessibility to key business information, ensure process integrity, and develop process flexibility which contributes to the success of Mass General Brigham Health Plan.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare/present efficient and effective presentations; facilitate the presentation of information for various audiences (agendas, minutes, reports, etc.).
• Assist members of the LRAC team in developing reports, presentations and meeting preparation.
• Assist with coordinating report deliverables for MassHealth, the Division of Insurance, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to the management of external audits.
• Schedule meetings as needed with the business and/or project teams.
• Perform research.
• Manage the department SharePoint site.
• Conduct regular reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal and compliance activities, ensuring documentation is readily accessible for internal and external audits.
• Facilitate LRAC-involved cross-organizational initiatives by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the company. Clearly defines and communicates key objectives of LRAC initiatives and ensures projects are brought to completion.
• Serve as the Health Plan's HealthStream Administrator for annual compliance trainings.
• Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business-related field OR equivalent professional experience, plus three (3) years of related experience.
Preferred/Desired:
• Experience and familiarity with health insurance, managed care, or health care business environments
• Strong business analytical skills and proven record of delivering superior results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience successfully identifying, scoping and driving process improvement projects.
• Strong expertise in technical writing and developing technical documentation to communicate complex information to non-technical users.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Experience using MS SharePoint collaboration software to coordinate and support the business needs of various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SharePoint out-of-the-box as well as more in-depth understanding of SharePoint structure and functionality.
