What are we looking for?
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree OR
2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
Excellent Verbal Communication
Ability to b uilds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing
Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch software
What will be your key responsibilities?
You'll u se data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
You'll c arry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
You'll d eliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
You'll h elp manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.
You'll provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols .
You'll develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
