How you will make an impact as The Director, People & Culture Resource Center:

The Director, People & Culture Resource Center will lead our People and Culture Resource Center team which is accountable for employee experience / employee support. This role is crucial in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement across the organization and ensuring compliance with employment laws. This role will lead a team of People & Culture professionals that help develop and elevate our leadership capabilities and enables a great employee experience by consulting managers and employees on a wide variety of topics and executing on organizational projects and initiatives. With strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of employee relations principles and our business, this leader will drive a culture of respect, accountability and collaboration.

Making an Impact / Business Consultation:


  • Understand the business and educate internal stakeholders on the dynamics of the local market, labor and workforce management.
  • Work with leaders to develop resources for managers including leader coaching, consulting on performance management, site policies and other education resources as necessary.
  • Serves as the lead for the resolution of employee issues and HR concerns.
  • Proactively identify and solve potential future challenges and offer consultation for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Fostering a positive work environment
  • Continually assess work sites to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment and identify improvement opportunities.

Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and communication of employee policies and procedures that promote a positive work culture and maintain high levels of engagement and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • In partnership with the legal team, regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in legislation and best practices.
  • Stay current with labor laws and regulations, advising leadership and educating People and Culture team on potential impact and necessary adjustments to policies and practices.

Employee Support and Conflict Resolution:

  • Lead a team that provides guidance and support to employees and managers to help resolve any employee issues or conflict, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor leaders in the organization on appropriate employee relations.
  • Facilitate high level/highly sensitive conflict resolution processes and mediate disputes to foster a collaborative workplace.
  • Partner to Risk Management on crisis response and proactive strategies to reduce impact to employees.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze employee relations data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and report out on findings and related actions.
  • Use data-driven insights to develop initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies/automations to continue to enhance the employee experience and efficiencies in PCRC process and service offerings.

Training and Development:

  • Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee relations best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Resource Center and the broader People and Culture team.

People Practice Leadership:

  • Own the annual people practice processes and, in collaboration with the HRBP team, delivery to employee population in a clear and concise manner
  • Serve as a thought leader to bring forward enhancements to annual people practices

People Leadership and Strategy:

  • Lead and continue to enhance/evolve the PCRC team, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective employee relations, focusing on conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead a team of senior level pooled HR experts that consult on high level project-based work

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HRBP's, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on employee relations initiatives, people practices and compliance matters
  • Serve as liaison between Legal, Business Operations, HRBP and senior leadership teams to ensure positive, safe and engaging environment

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details:

  • • Y our typical day will include collaborating with field leadership, senior leadership team and business partners, coaching and mentoring of PCRC team members, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining high level of knowledge in field of employee relations and HR management.

Qualifications:

R equired:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee relations, HR management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and industry best practices throughout the US

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with labor unions and internal stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
