Supervise and manage construction activities in the field, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents and other stakeholders to provide technical support and resolve construction challenges.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures on job sites.
Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Monitor daily progress and performance, including manpower, equipment, and materials, and provide reports to project management.
Oversee and document site inspections, material testing, and other quality assurance activities.
Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation, such as daily reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.
Provide field support for construction teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Ensure proper documentation of field activities, including photographs, drawings, and reports, for project records.
Assist in coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on field progress and any issues or delays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in heavy civil construction, including experience with roads, bridges, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects, is a plus
Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
