Location: Columbia City, Indiana Employment Type: Direct Hire (Full-Time) Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
Hours - 10:30PM-6:30AM, the expectation is 10PM-7AM for overlapping coverage, OT (rotating weekends with 1st and 2nd shift managers and they can schedule/swap weekends if needed)
This role will serve as the maintenance supervisor for 3rd shift maintenance. A candidate with some leadership experience is ideal (managed a small team of at least three, with little to no turnover). It is 100% onsite with less than 5% travel. If another site needs coverage, travel will be completely voluntary.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring high-quality work.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
Implement preventive maintenance measures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Prevent nonconformances related to product, process, and quality systems.
Identify and record problems related to product, process, and quality systems.
Recommend and implement solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming products until issues are resolved.
Qualifications:
Experience with PLCs (Control Logix, Micro Logix, Compact Logix & SLC 500 - Rockwell software) and the ability to understand ladder logic and make programming changes.
Experience with automation equipment (e.g., industrial robots, AGV, vision systems).
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Experience in industrial maintenance practices and facilities management.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
Ability to effectively supervise a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent critical thinking skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Associate Degree or higher required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced experience with PLCs and automation equipment is highly preferred.
