General Function:
Apply knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) when reviewing government contracts.
Administers standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments.
Conduct proposal preparation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Process subcontract and consultant agreements and/or modifications in support of Prime Contract Performance.
Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Supports Capture and Proposal efforts, compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
Maintains contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
Participates in teaming agreement negotiations between company and outside sources.
Responsibilities also include the administration of medium-to-complex materials and services (including software) requirements as assigned in support of company requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
BA/BS Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 years or a Master's (or equivalent) with 3 years of professional experience reviewing and managing federal government contracts.
Experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must possess and maintain government security clearance at the Secret level.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
