Multiple positions are available on the afternoon (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) and midnight (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) shifts.

Summary
This position provides extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping, and electrical systems for the St. Clair Plant located in Eaton, OH.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of complex machine breakdowns or out-of-control situations.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts; performs major and minor repairs.
Installs and repairs electrical equipment, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the plant.
Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, grinders, mills, drill presses, etc.) to repair and/or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
Performs routine preventative maintenance (PM) and recommends improvements to the PM program.
Responsible for complex equipment troubleshooting and repairs (e.g.: PLC program modifications, unit repairs on hydraulic pumps, etc.).
Collaborate with reliability staff to order and stock parts and tools.
Plan and lead Continuous Improvement project implementations.
Maintain and diagnose problems with robotics, PLCs, and automation systems.
Responsible for training of maintenance technicians on basic troubleshooting techniques on plant equipment, repair/rebuilds, preventative maintenance (PM), and plant systems such as compressed air, water, electrical, etc.
Responsible for working with engineering staff to initiate and drive projects to completion. This will require contact with outside vendors and various contacts within the organization.
Track and communicate work progress in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Flexible to work any shift assignment and overtime as needed, including being on call.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma with 9 to 11 years' experience in electrical, technical, and mechanical maintenance
Experience in a CNC Machining Environment as a machine operator or machinist.
Preferred Requirements:
Associate degree in electrical/Mechanical Technology with 6 to 8 years of experience in electrical, technical, and mechanical maintenance
Experience in maintenance within a CNC machining environment
Physical Requirements:
Activities such as walking, stooping, climbing, kneeling, bending.
Significant time on production floor and significant time on feet and walking.
Significant uses of hands; sometimes in confined spaces.
Occasional lifting; typically less than 50 lbs.
Hearing of conversational level.
Must be able to be qualified to operate powered industrial equipment.
Color vision.
