Position Overview: A Keystone Cooperative Service Technician must be customer focused and is responsible for all propane and/or petroleum repairs including but not limited to instillation, repair, and removal of petroleum systems at customer and company locations. Supports the activities of Keystone Cooperative energy division to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations maximizing profit.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to
Support Keystone's stated mission, vision, and business values.
Project a positive attitude consistently to customers and employees.
Provide outstanding and courteous customer service.
Schedule and execute retail site inspections in compliance with IDEM for monthly and yearly inspection requirements.
Maintain the required documentation monthly for retail sites.
Responsible for performing or managing retail site maintenance and repair.
Prepare production and inventory records as required.
Responsible for liquid fuel departments regulatory and safety compliance along with Keystone safety team.
Installation, repair, and removal of various liquid energy systems including but not limited to bulk plants, trucks, grain dryers, fuel dispensers, and AutoGas systems.
Diagnose propane system leaks and performance problems.
Proper operation of equipment including but not limited to flatbed truck with lifting boom, trenchers (various sizes and styles), augers and various hand tools.
Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, could be called out after hours on service calls.
Keep informed of and follow approved safety practices in the performance of job responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:
Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement, or ability to obtain
Mechanical knowledge
Obtain and maintain required IDEM Certifications
Industry Certification Preferred; CETP Basic Principles and Practices 1.0, CTEP Vapor Distribution Systems 4.1, CETP Bobtail Delivery 2.1 and 2.2, PREC Crane Operator Training General Industry (Suggested), PERC Cathodic Protection for Tanks and Piping (Suggested), IPGA 2- and 5-Pound Systems, Liquid Piping and Vaporizers (Suggested)
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
