Oversee financial activities for multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Monitor and analyze project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
Prepare project financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Billing and Revenue Recognition:
Handle project invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
Track billable hours, expenses, and manage revenue recognition according to accounting standards.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory standards.
Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and insights.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, clients, and finance teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Coordinate with the accounts payable and receivable teams for accurate transaction processing.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving accounting procedures and project cost tracking.
Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting/finance or 4 years related experience required.
Construction industry knowledge is preferred and Timberline/Sage300
Must be knowledgeable in general accounting principles
