We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in workers' compensation, to support a new partner at a growing legal practice. This position requires someone who can quickly acclimate to a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional administrative and legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize legal documentation, correspondence, and case files.
Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Coordinate schedules, including meetings, hearings, and client communications.
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries as needed.
Provide administrative support, including data entry and record maintenance.
Handle correspondence and communications with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of legal assistant experience, with a preference for workers' compensation.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
