The Continuous Improvement Intern will be responsible for assisting the Operations Team with projects starting in summer of 2025.
Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
- Work with operations to identify best practices driving standard work.
- Assist in continuous improvement events.
- Work with production to understand bottlenecks within processes.
- Work with peers and other departments to improve safety, quality, and performance.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Actively participate and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in operations management or another related degree.
- Ideal candidate will be in their 3rd or 4th year of college, but willing to consider other candidates based on prior experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to travel between Neenah and Hartford locations regularly.
