The University of Pittsburgh, Ophthalmology Department is looking for a Post Doctoral Associate.
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is immediately available at the Yam lab (Corneal Regeneration Lab) of the Mercy Vision Institute (Univ. of Pittsburgh, PA, USA) to work in the field of corneal stromal stem cells and the development of stem cell-based therapy to clinical trials for corneal scarring.
Duties include GMP stem cell culture, in vitro biological and molecular characterization, in vivo corneal injury model treatment, ophthalmic imaging, reporting, and presentation.
PhD in cell and molecular biology or Molecular Medicine, with GMP experience, and a track record of publication and presentation in conferences.
