Senior Director of MRI OperationsClinical Trials Unit Research

Summary

The Senior Director of Operations of the Tulane Advanced Imaging Center (TAIC) works closely with the TAIC Medical Director and SOM Director of Research Operations to oversee and direct the operations of the School of Medicine's MRI research imaging center, liaising with pre-clinical and clinical investigators and clinical research coordinators from a variety of different support functions, including animal and human research protections, regulatory/compliance, and finance/budgeting.
This position provides leadership and director to the TAIC team, and will oversee the unit's various functions, including workflow processes, safety trainings, scheduling and billing of services, and professional development. They will serve as the principal liaison with external and internal stakeholders. The Senior Director work with SOM leadership team regarding research-related functions and will contribute to the strategic vision-making for the pre-clinical and clinical research enterprise for the School of Medicine.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in related field. * 7 - 10 years relevant experience leading and/or coordinating MRI units and research operations involving MRI scanning.* Administrative, management, and supervisory experience.
