Support special operations forces by contributing to logistics and ground support systems that ensure the readiness and effectiveness of elite units. This role provides the chance to support high-priority missions, offering insights into the logistics and sustainment of critical defense operations.
Responsibilities:
Support special operations forces by maintaining and managing medical equipment systems to ensure readiness, reliability, and safety across critical operations.
Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of medical equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological components.
Troubleshoot malfunctions, replace defective components, and conduct operational checkout procedures to ensure equipment serviceability.
Record all maintenance and repair activities in the Joint Logistics Data Warehouse (JLDW).
Manage and provide logistical support for medical devices and systems, ensuring patient safety and adherence to life support requirements.
Supervise biomedical equipment and medical supply specialists, ensuring compliance with best practices for device safety, operation, and security.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in developing technical requirements and overseeing the procurement of medical devices and systems.
Provide technical consultation to commanders and staff, contributing expertise in medical device safety, operation, and enterprise-level security.
Qualifications:
Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret Clearance.
Extensive experience in the servicing, maintenance, and management of medical equipment.
Expertise in calibration, repair, and installation of medical systems across mechanical, electronic, and radiological technologies.
Strong understanding of power and space requirements for medical device installation.
Proven ability to supervise and guide technical personnel in adherence to safety and operational best practices.
Experience with logistics systems, including recording and managing medical equipment maintenance within platforms like JLDW.
