Engineering Product Manager (Mid-Career Level)




Sterling Heights, MI




Contract Position




$57.97- $64.99/ Hourly




Engineering Product Manager job in Sterling Heights, Michigan is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat support vehicles contributing innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.



Responsibilities:



  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key products, integrating and testing them at the subsystem and vehicle levels.

  • Plan and execute engineering projects using project management principles, generating and managing project plans and schedules.

  • Establish funding mechanisms and forecast project demand while tracking metrics to drive project performance.

  • Oversee vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and testing activities.

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external customers, representing the project and engineering teams to leadership.

  • Lead programmatic events and support bid efforts for RFIs and proposals.

  • Manage problem reports, prioritize issues, and facilitate change processing metrics.

  • Propose and assess process improvements to enhance design throughput and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:



  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (other degrees considered with relevant experience).

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven leadership in leading design, development, and integration of complex systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.

  • Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Business acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to assess technical risks and develop mitigation plans.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
