Our clients are seeking a goal-oriented Sr. Accountants to assist with their year-end consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in close-outs, reconciliations, and GL management.
The Sr. Accountant will have experience in the following:
Conduct year-end clean up accounting projects such as resolving bank reconciliation backlogs
Handle month/year-end close outs with GL maintenance and reconciliations
Record journal entries while ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP
Perform reconciliations on financial statements such as balance sheets
Analyze variance and provide explanations to management
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with company deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
Proficiency with accounting softwares/ERP required
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) required
