Job Summary:
The Program Management Manager will provide direct leadership to the Caterpillar Switchgear AES project management team responsible for successful execution of AES projects and/or accounts from Order Entry through Project Closeout. Program manager will have a thorough knowledge of the principles relating to the design, and operation of paralleling switchgear systems and AES solutions. The ability to apply these principles to the direction of other disciplines and to direct people of lesser experience in the performance of paralleling switchgear systems relative to the support of AES projects. The individual in this position must be generally familiar with financial, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the AES project, including dealer structure and processes.
Degree Requirement:
Demonstrated skills and expertise in mediation and negotiation.
Ability to strategically and tactically organize and structure project execution activities.
College or university degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible job-related experience desired.
What you will do:
• Overseeing the hiring, development and management of AES Project Management team. Also, directs day to day work assignments while coaching, mentoring and setting priorities. • Designing, establishing and monitoring the organization's project management goals. • Lead a team of Project Managers and analysts who plan, schedule, manage, supervise, and oversee the execution of broad and complex AES projects.
• management / escalation of financial, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the AES projects as well as oversight for the planning, design, procurement, assembly, test, shipment, and commissioning of AES projects
• manage commercial aspects and support technical direction to various other project teams, including engineering, purchasing, production and field service teams.

Liaison: Represents the project management organization and is the prime commercial, technical, and contractual authority responsible for the execution of complex projects. Interfaces with internal management of the Company as well as customers. Internal contacts and peers may be department and business managers, project managers, production managers, product support team, and engineering. External contacts are project managers and management of Caterpillar Dealers, major clients, and sub-suppliers.

• This position will sit from Alpharetta, GA, in a hybrid flexible role (Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday & Friday working from home).
