General Description

This position is responsible for participating in all phases of the development life cycle of new and existing business applications & Salesforce Platform and data Integration. Primary focus is on analysis, architecture, design, programming, testing and implementation. Responsible in understanding IT strategy, developing solution architectures, implementing enterprise scale integrations, data analysis for seamless integration, solution design, modeling, development, and analysis with a strong record of leading successful data-driven projects. Ensure that technical aspects of the projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions to elevate the data management within Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Develop strategic data analysis for integration, data profiling, transformation, and data cleansing.
  • Collaborate with Business, Digital and IT to support the analysis, plan and develop of backlogs, designs, and plans
  • Mentor, train, and guide developers. Assign and oversee the tasks of technical personnel from Digital and IT
  • Research and evaluate software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce data integration issues with cross functional teams; work closely on an agile team of product owner, other engineers, and scrum master in a collaborative environment to configure systems and deliver technical solutions adhering to business requirements
  • Analyze requirements provided by other team members and determine how they will affect new or existing systems.
  • Interpret business requirements and develop detailed technical requirements
  • Generate estimates for design, programming and testing activities
  • Design system elements such as classes, components, modules etc to meet functional & non-functional requirements
  • Identify database entities and prepare logical/physical data models
  • Design interfaces within system for various modules and components
  • Design interfaces across systems for effective and efficient communication
  • Generate programming specifications for new or existing systems
  • Construct programming elements such as classes, components, subsystems
  • Construct database elements such as tables, views, stored procedure, functions, and triggers
  • Identify potential design discrepancies and recommend modifications to others' code
  • Define a system/integration/UAT test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Execute test plans and verify that test results meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Analyze/troubleshoot production defects and implement resolutions for root causes
  • Coordinate and support users during UAT phase, resolve UAT defects and obtain user sign-offs
  • Create/update system or user documentation
  • Document business process conversion procedures, convert data and verify results
  • Train users and help desk personnel on custom and packaged software
  • Deploy new or existing systems to production

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology

Qualifications

  • 15+ years' experience as senior role leading large to mid-size software development projects
  • Proficient in Salesforce Cloud Technologies: FSC, OmniStudio, LWC, Apex, Data Cloud/CDP, CRMA
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Journey Builder/Automation Studio, Salesforce Personalization/Interaction Studio Solutions and Analytics Studio (Reporting), Identity resolution, Audience segmentation
  • Proficient in Software Development technologies: Java/J2EE or .NET, XML, RESTful APIs, Web development
  • Proficient in Integration Architecture, Patterns & Frameworks
  • Understands and applies company programming procedures (Secure SDLC, Coding Standards) to all work performed.
  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development & analysis.
  • Demonstrate competency in design, develop, debug/test and deploy/configure implementation of software.
  • Experienced in Software development methodologies & process: Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN), DevSecOps
  • Good understanding of Cloud Technologies: AWS or Azure
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and developing software development talent
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and collaborating with other business segments to achieve business outcomes
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experienced working with various vendors (Onshore & Offshore) & implementation approaches (Hybrid, fully outsourced)
  • Certifications in Salesforce Cloud technologies such as Admin, Developer, OmniStudio, Data Cloud is plus
