Job Description Summary The University of South Alabama’s Environmental Services department is seeking to hire an Environmental Services Aide II. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions
  • Maintains tile and terrazzo floors and carpeted areas by scheduled vacuuming with appropriate equipment.
  • Cleans office and classrooms including furniture, light fixtures and chalk/dry erase boards.
  • Replenishes chalk and empties all trash receptacles.
  • Scrubs restroom areas, commodes, urinals and lavatories.
  • Applies deodorizers and germicidal in proper areas.
  • Refills soap dispensers and towel and tissue paper holders.
  • Polishes mirrors and plumbing fixtures and cleans light covers as needed.
  • Cleans all glass that can be reached by step ladder.
  • Utilizes University vehicles to travel to various locations across campus, transporting furniture as needed.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • Related duties as required.
