RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Accountant in Virginia Beach, VA.

Duties Include:

• Tax Accountant will ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations


• Conduct research on tax issues and provide recommendations to management


• Assist in tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation


• Respond to tax-related inquiries and notices from tax authorities


• As a Tax Accountant, you will collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax filings


• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field


• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations


• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
