RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Full Stack Java Developer will execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems


• Write secure and high-quality code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems


• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development


• Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation


• Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity


• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems


• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture


• The Senior Full Stack Java Developer will contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of J2EE experience


• 5+ years of SQL/noSQL experience


• 1+ years of AWS/cloud experience


• 1+ years of experience with event handling using Kafka or similar


• Webservice development experience


• SPLUNK and its Search Processing Language (SPL) experience


• Exposure to WebSphere, Shell Scripting, Windows Scripting


• Spring Boot experience


• Exposure to Kafka

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
