RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a long-standing and successful professional services company in the Johnston, RI area is looking for an Accountant. The company offers an employee-oriented environment and provides 100% of healthcare premiums.

Responsibilities:

• Accountant will manage and maintain accurate financial records for a variety of assigned clients


• Oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles


• Prepare various tax returns


• Prepare reconciliations including bank statements, payroll and other related financial data


• Prepare and review financial reports and summaries


• As an Accountant, you will work in a team environment to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Liaise with clients regarding financial matters


• Preparation of personal, corporate and partnership tax returns

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3+ years of related Accounting/Bookkeeping experience


• Proficiency in QuickBooks, tax software and Microsoft Office applications


• Strong comfort with accounting principles and practices


• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills


• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy


• Effective communication skills for client interactions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
