Summary
Provides support to the Hub staff by ensuring a smooth operation by taking responsibility from first customer contact to the planning and preparation of service execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process customer requests and drive customer satisfaction by taking ownership of the customer communication and management
Identify and evaluate the requirements and needed Field Service Engineer skills for a successful service execution.
Plan, organize and monitor Field Service Engineer case assignments including (re-) scheduling of existing service cases.
During service execution, support Field Service Engineer with all organizational tasks (e.g. new appointments, required expert support or parts ordering).
Prepare service job proposals and align with Hub lead for proposal approval.
Coordinate spare parts orders as well as service requests with Excellence Center.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Possess strong attention to detail
Possess a high level of customer orientation and service mentality
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills ability to represent a professional demeanor in person and over the phone
Excellent organization and time management skills
Confident and proficient user of business software tools (ERP, CRM tools, MS Office)
Ability to learn and understand fundamental technical knowledge in the heat treat industry
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates degree or other related post-high school training preferred.
Prior experience in customer support/ inside sales required. Prefer experience in an industrial environment.
